Staffing Logistics undertakes to ensure it is registered with all statutory bodies and adhere to all legislation pertaining to Temporary Employment Services.
The relevant bodies are:
- Unemployment Insurance Fund
- Workmen’s compensation
- Industry specific bargaining councils and employers’ associations
- Staffing Logistics will assume responsibility for:
- All legal requirements as gazetted
- Payment of not less than the minimum wage prescribed by legislation/applicable bargaining council agreements and/or sectoral determinations.
- Payment of all benefits prescribed by legislation/applicable bargaining council agreements and/or sectoral determinations
- which could include:
- UIF contributions
- Annual leave pay
- Sick leave pay
- Other leave (e.g. family responsibility leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, compassionate leave)
- Public holiday pay
- Overtime pay
- Workmen’s compensation
- Skills development levies
- Uniforms
- Retirement fund payments
- Bargaining council levies Labour legislation is fully integrated into Staffing Logistics modus operandi and all personnel are trained to handle any issues which may arise. |
